Un anno di Worldpress.it

E’ passato un anno dall’apertura di questo blog, un anno intenso di blogging, in cui ho conosciuto molta gente simpatica, raggiunto “piccoli” traguardi, e imparato un mucchio di cose. Anche se il tempo non è mai molto, cercherò di portare avanti questo mio spazio dedicato a wordpress, alla grafica, e alle novità della rete, ringrazio tutti quelli che sono passati di qua, hanno buttato un occhio e magari commentato, vi aspetto prossimamente… …per oggi mi godo il mio primo blog-compleanno! Ma theme-viewer è morto??

E’ oramai qualche mese che andando a sulla pagina di theme-viewer mi ritrovo davanti ad un messaggio di scuse, che annuncia la prossima riapertura del sito e la possibilità di uppare nuovamente i propri temi. Oggi appare addirittura cosi E il messaggio datato 11 dicembre recita: Just wanted to do a quick update for those wondering when you'll be able to add new themes or update existing ones here in the directory. We've been working very hard on a new Subversion-backed database for themes that will allow you to upload themes as you did before, as a plain ZIP file, and we're transparently check it into SVN so changes can be tracked just like we do for WordPress development. Penso che ci stiano mettendo un pò troppo tempo…intanto nella comunità di wordpress fioccano di continuo nuovi siti, dove proporre i propri temi per il download. Avete qualche notizia in merito? Creare la propria pagina tagcloud in wordpress

Con la nuova versione di wordpress è stato introdotto il supporto nativo dei tags, quindi abbiamo la possibilità di creare la nostra tagcloud in una pagina nel giro di 2 minuti. PASSO 1 Apriamo con un editor di testo nel template che utilizziamo il file page.php. Copiamo in cima prima di qualsiasi altra cosa questa parte di codice (prima gel comando get_header): /* Template Name: tagcloud */ ?&gt; PASSO 2 Scendiamo nella nostra pagina e inseriamo all’interno del loop il codice per la tagcloud, la nostra bella nuvoletta: <div id="tagcloud"> <?php wp_tag_cloud('smallest=8&largest=20'); ?> </div> PASSO 3 Salviamo il file modificato come tagcloud.php. PASSO 4 Non ci resta che richiamare all’interno del nostro blog (dove volete voi..io l’ho inserita nella navigazione orizzontale) la pagina appena creata tramite un semplice collegamento ipertestuale: <a href="http://www.MIOBLOG.it/tagcloud.php">Tagcloud</a> Dove MIOBLOG e’ l’indirizzo del vostro blog :) Fatto!
